Licensed to practice medicine in New York, Dr. Desrosiers holds over four decades of experience in his field. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Haiti, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1982. 

Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to perform his residency in family medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. This was followed by an additional residency in family medicine and a fellowship in geriatric medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
